These general terms and conditions apply to all orders submitted on MEYER-HOSEN AG’s (Hauptstrasse 30, 51580 Reichshof) online shop, accessible at www.meyer-hosen.com.
MEYER-HOSEN AG only delivers to consumers in the sense of §13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) with place of residence and shipping address in the Federal Republic of Germany, and only in quantities for personal use.
A consumer in the sense of §13 BGB is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose which cannot be assigned to their commercial or independent professional activity.

2.1 The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a binding legal offer, but only a non-binding online catalogue. Photos and representations of the goods offered are provided on the website in the form of digital photographs of the real existent products. Small discrepancies between representation and reality do not constitute a fault in the goods ordered. If the item description does not explicitly state otherwise, all items are delivered without the decoration pictured (e.g. shoes). We will make you aware if a product is no longer available.
2.2 By clicking the button “Confirm order” at the end of the order process, you have submitted a binding order of the goods contained in the shopping basket for the total price displayed to you. Confirmation of our receipt of your order takes place via an automated email immediately after we have received your order and does not constitute acceptance of the contract. MEYER-HOSEN AG may accept your order by sending an email order confirmation or delivering the goods within five days. The contract is only concluded when such an order acceptance occurs.
2.3 MEYER-HOSEN AG is free to reject online orders. This decision shall be made at MEYER-HOSEN AG’s discretion. Should your online order not be carried out, MEYER-HOSEN AG will inform you of this without undue delay.
2.4 The text of a concluded contract will be saved by MEYER-HOSEN AG and may be sent to you on request after the order process has been completed. Your past orders can be found in our customer login area.
3.1 Die MEYER-HOSEN AG delivers while stocks last. MEYER-HOSEN AG is entitled to carry out partial deliveries.
3.2 Our logistical service providers are DPD Dynamic Parcel Distribution GmbH & Co. KG, UPS United Parcel Service and DHL International GmbH. We deliver exclusively within Germany - with free postage and packing. The goods are insured during initial delivery and any return delivery, as long as they are in the possession of the service provider.

3.3 Please find delivery times in the item information directly next to the product in question. We will contact you promptly in the event of delivery delays. You can view the status of your delivery via the link “Track my order”. If you were not available at the time of the delivery, you will be notified by a short written message from the logistical service provider. The parcel carrier will generally try to deliver the parcel to you on 3 consecutive days.
4.1 The prices given at the time of the order shall apply. All prices include statutory VAT, shipping costs and packaging.
4.2 You may pay for goods on account, by immediate transfer, PayPal, Amazon Pay or credit card according to your preference. MEYER-HOSEN AG reserves the right to exclude particular payments methods according to the results of a credit check.
If you’re paying by credit card, the amount will be reserved on your credit card when you place your order (so-called authorisation). This will be carried out by Unzer GmbH. The necessary personal data for this will be saved locally in a protected mask by this service provider. As such, MEYER-HOSEN AG has not saved any of your credit details. Your credit card will actually be charged when the goods are dispatched to you.
If you’re paying by immediate transfer the amount will be taken from your account immediately.
If you decide to pay on account, the billing amount must be settled 14 days at the latest after receipt of the invoice sent to you with the goods. If you have already sent back individual items from a billed order, the total billing amount may be reduced by the price of the items returned.
The goods shall remain the property of MEYER-HOSEN AG until the full purchase price has been paid.
You have the right to cancel this contract without giving a reason within fourteen days. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day upon which you or a third party nominated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last delivery. In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must contact us at (MEYER-HOSEN AG, Hauptstraße 30, 51580 Reichshof-Denklingen, Email: service@meyer-hosen.com, Telephone: 0049 2296 98120, Fax: +49 2296 8950) and inform us by means of a clear statement (e.g. as a letter consigned by post, fax or email) of your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the attached sample cancellation form, although this is not mandatory. To meet the cancellation deadline it is sufficient to notify us that you intend to exercise your right to cancel before the cancellation deadline.
Consequences of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we must refund you all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for the additional costs resulting from your having chosen a different type of delivery than the most reasonable standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which we received notification that you are cancelling this contract. For this repayment we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed with you; on no account will you be charged fees due to this repayment. We can refuse the repayment until we have received the goods or you have provided evidence that you have sent back the goods, whichever is earlier. You must return or hand over the goods promptly and in any event not later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of any cancellation of this contract, to (MEYER-HOSEN AG, Hauptstraße 30, 51580 Reichshof-Denklingen, Email: service@meyer-hosen.com, Telephone: 0049 2296 98120, Fax: +49 2296 8950). We will send you a DHL returns slip by email. You have complied with the time period if you send the goods before expiry of the fourteen day period. You only need to pay for any diminished value of the goods if such loss in value is due to handling of the goods which was not part of a necessary examination to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We ask that you notify us of the return of goods by phone at +49 2296-9812-390 or by email at service@meyer-hosen.com. In this way you will allow us to allocate the products more quickly; such a notification is not, however, required for the effective exercise of your right of cancellation.
In so far as no other agreement has been made, statutory warranty provisions shall apply. Laws enforced in Germany will apply with the exclusion of UN ratification established in Vienna on April 11th, 1980 concerning the International Purchase of Goods.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obligated nor prepared to participate in a dispute resolution process before a consumer conciliation board.
Should a provision of these general terms and conditions be invalid, the rest of the agreement shall remain effective. Relevant legal stipulations shall apply in place of the invalid provision.
